We as humans tend to be our own worst enemies. Apart from a few exceptions, we know ourselves best. If you don’t look after yourself, who will? People can get too comfortable and slip into a rhythm of repeating the same thing everyday, therefore ignoring what is happening around them. By zoning into a neutral state of mind we don’t notice what exactly makes us feel down. We know we feel bad, we just don’t know… Why?
Sometimes you hate your job. You don’t think you are able to leave that post and do what you love. If you love it enough, you will have the drive to succeed. All the best choices are the hardest to make!
If you have a “friend” who makes you feel like trash, a “friend” who calls you when they want you to be their own personal chauffeur but then when you are crying alone, they suddenly vanish off the face of the Earth?! They are not your friends! “But I don’t have anyone!” You may wail.
Sometimes you have to leave the shore and swim to the ship or you’ll miss your chance. You don’t know if or when the ship is coming to you so you need to swim. You are scared to drown but you won’t miss the land. You get my point! Bad friends are not your friends so don’t stand by and watch them suck the life out of you. They are not worth your unicorn time!
If you can’t identify what makes you feel like rubbish then have a long hard think. Still nothing? Maybe it’s you! If you keep doing things you regret or have the wrong attitude then what else do you expect to happen? My mother always tells me to never do the same thing and expect a different result.
If you are negative and are full of “I can’t…”, “I don’t want to make a fool of myself.” Saying “What if?” or “But…” Will not get you to where you want to be. You will trip and land face-first. You will step into many puddles and ruin a new pair of suede boots. You will face rejection over and over until you can’t count any longer! But if you can look past that and keep going then you deserve and will get what you want. Don’t let yourself get in the way of the best life you can have.
If you give it your all and don’t end up where you want then you will still feel awesome because you had a great adventure trying. Sometimes when things seem like they are falling apart, they are really falling into place. This little post on the inter-webs WILL NOT change you or your life. Only you can decide what happens.
So do it.
