How is everything? I am great! I managed to get out of bed pretty early for the weekend I think. I did some cleaning and ate a fair-sized breakfast. Let’s slay (or sleigh) being productive!
And now I am actually keeping my word and posting for Blogmas. “Gimme da points!” As Lilly Singh would say. Lilly is one of my role-models. I don’t watch all her videos or vlogs but when I do, I am astounded by her drive and work ethic. She tackles each day with a smile and when she succeeds in completing tasks she celebrates her victory, yet she is so humble. She is not afraid to accept it if she didn’t manage to complete all her work and she reminds me of the idea that if you fail you take that experience and learn from it, so it’s not really failing-it’s learning. One of Lilly’s mottos is to “Hustle Harder Everyday” and she strives to do just that.
I know that this isn’t a particularly festive themed post but it is one with an important message. Everybody wants to be successful but nobody wants to do all the work to get it. If you don’t get up and try your best you will never know what you are capable of. So if you want something, go for it! You will definitely be rejected and face knock-backs. But many people who fail to achieve their goals gave up because they didn’t know how close they were to succeeding. To be successful you need to have the mind-set of a successful person. When you wake up in the morning don’t think, “Oh, I have so much work! I’m not going to bother getting up.” That’s not what a BOSS would think. A winner would say, “I have a lot of work to do. I will get up now and start it so I will have more time to enjoy myself later!” Well, not exactly those words but you know what I mean😂
I think that there is too much hype about the concept of “A new year, new me”. Why should you wait until next year to start living your life in a way that you can be proud of? Why not now? If you are serious about making a change you should work to implement that as soon as possible. If at least one person reading this post is inspired I will take that as a success. One step at a time. I may not have as much of an online presence or as big of an influence as Lilly but I have been inspired by her to work hard. I hope to inspire you in a similar way.
Even I have chill days. I may not feel like getting a lot of tasks done but one thing I always do is make a list of absolutely necessary work. Then I waste no time and complete all the things on my list and I relax with the rest of my time. That’s all I have today. Now go forth and conquer your day!
Peace✌️, Love💜 and Noodles🍜
