Trip To France- Thoughts and Photographs

Hello everyone!

Earlier this year I went to France and here are some photographs I want to share with you of my time there.

I visited Normandy for a couple of days to see Omaha Beach, The Normandy American Cemetery and later we explored the nearby area of Arromanches-les-Bains. Then to top it all off, my friends and I went to Disneyland Paris! I avoided Fantasyland *le gasp*, because I wanted to go on thrill rides. My top three rides would have to be Indiana Jones: The Temple of Peril, the Aerosmith Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster and Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain (definitely my favourite).

An a side-note, this is actually my 150th blog post! I can’t believe we made it this far! Looking back, there are so many times I’ve wanted to trash this blog and start over, I’ve never blogged before this and I’ve learned so much about writing and more. I have also realised that I don’t owe content to anyone- there’s no rules about how much I should post, so every post doesn’t need to start with “sorry I haven’t posted in a while”. That’s old and boring, for you and me both! Thanks to everyone who reads my posts, whether you’ve been here since the beginning or you’ve just discovered this blog. It means the world to me that you are joining me on this journey of discovering who I am, not just as a writer but also as a person as well.

Thank you all for 150 fantastic posts and may there be many more.

Peace, love and noodles.

    1. For me, it was seeing vintage fashion and reading books set in France that sparked my interest. When I saw Hugo (the one with Asa Butterfield and Chloe Grace Moretz) I knew I wanted to see France for myself.

You like 60s French films? That’s so cool, you have amazing taste! I grew up watching stuff like Calamity Jane with my mum along with anything Audrey Hepburn vibes to it, I guess.
